Band Oracle Now On OKC

Band Oracle now on OKC, a secure & programmable smart contracts platform for the next-gen Web3 applications. This integration will allow OKC developers to easily and reliably connect to external data providers in a decentralized, reliable, and accurate manner using Band Protocol oracles.

Band’s scalable oracle can provide developers on the OKC Network, especially those in DeFi, with a fast and accurate way to access an ever-growing list of crypto assets, commodities, and foreign exchange prices from the Band Standard Dataset.

BAND STANDARD DATASET

There are currently over 80+ data feeds included in the Band Standard Dataset from a growing number of sources. DApp developers can build and deploy DApps on the blockchain network with these decentralized and reliable price feeds, giving them the ability to be innovative, agile, and flexible.

BAND PROTOCOL AND HOW IT WORKS

Furthermore, the Band protocol’s End-to-End customization gives developers room to tailor specific DApp requirements so that DApps can operate more effectively and reliably.

Oracle solutions such as Band Protocol act as a middleware layer, operating between the decentralized applications and various data sources. Its task is to make sure that smart contracts have access to APIs and data sources outside of the blockchains.

For most decentralized applications, Oracle is arguably one of the most important components and fragile points of failure. That’s why choosing a robust and decentralized oracle is one of the most critical decisions that application developers need to make. The Band Protocol believes that the best oracle solution must be resilient to any potential attack and at the same time open and transparent on how all of its components are operated.

BAND PROTOCOL OFFERINGS

Band Protocol offers a decentralized oracle service that is secure by crypto-economics design, affordable, and easy to integrate for developers. Its solution is open sourced, audited, and operated by a wide array of professional node operators to make sure the oracle service we provide are adequately secure and robust for decentralized applications

Band Oracles are currently securing multiple decentralized applications, both in decentralized finance (DeFi) space and in other areas.

ABOUT Band Protocol
Band Protocol is a cross-chain data oracle platform that aggregates and connects real-world data and APIs to smart contracts. Blockchains are great at immutable storage and deterministic, verifiable computations.

However, they cannot securely access data available outside the blockchain networks. Band Protocol enables smart contract applications such as DeFi, prediction markets, and games to be built on-chain. Of course, without relying on a centralized oracle’s single point of failure. Band Protocol is backed by a strong network of stakeholders including Sequoia Capital and Binance.

ABOUT OKC
OKC is a secure & programmable smart contracts platform for next-generation decentralized applications, backed by OKX, one of the largest crypto exchanges. The technology built into the chain was designed for high-performance Dapps. It has a lower cost, making it a great match for many DeFi protocols, NFTs, and other Metaverse applications.
