Spookyswap integrates with dTWAP

Spookyswap integrates with dTWAP powered by Orbs Network. SpookySwap, the largest DEX by TVL on the Fantom blockchain has completed its integration with dTWAP, developed by the Orbs team and powered by the Orbs network.

The integration comes after completing the process on SpiritSwap and Pangolin DEX, as it continues to see new DEXs adopt the dTWAP standard.

dTWAP is a fully decentralized, permissionless, and composable DeFi protocol developed by the Orbs team and powered by the Orbs network. Traders utilizing the DEX will now have access to the sophisticated order type, dTWAP.

Integration Highlights

The integration highlights the close collaboration between the Orbs team and SpookySwap and displays a working relationship that other projects can look to model to adopt the standard quickly. The Spooky team did most of the integration work, including their custom front end, with minimal help from Orbs developers. This was possible due to the smart contract audits (1,2) and the high-level developer documentation of dTWAP.

Orbs is a decentralized protocol executed by a public network of permissionless validators using PoS. Staked with TVL valued at over a hundred million dollars. Orbs pioneers the concept of L3 infrastructure. Utilizing the Orbs decentralized network to enhance the capabilities of existing EVM smart contracts, opening up a whole new spectrum of possibilities for Web 3.0, DeFi, NFTs, and GameFi.

Trade With More Confidence

In the last seven days, SpookySwap has facilitated a trading volume of 76 million dollars. Boasts a TVL of 97 million. The order types that make up this volume are Market, Limit, and Cross-Chain. dTWAP will expand Spooky’s offerings, allowing dTWAP to tap into a marketplace with robust trading volumes.

TWAP is an algorithmic trading strategy utilized in CeFi that aims to reduce the impact of large orders on the market by breaking them down into smaller portions over time. By executing smaller orders, this approach lessens the price impact and enables traders to gradually acquire various assets over a specific period of time. Spooky’s traders can now utilize these key features without sacrificing decentralization.

Trading With dTWAP

Those familiar with the DEX can find dTWAP in a familiar location, next to the other order types supported by Spooky. When switching to the dTWAP UI, users have present with a fully customizable dashboard that updates in real time as they make changes to their orders.

Before executing dTWAP, three parameters need to be specified:

# of Intervals:
allows the user to specify the number of individual trades. The UI automatically calculates the total number of trades required to complete the full order and the estimated trading interval.
Max Duration:
the total time during which the total amount of individual trades making up the full dTWAP order may be executed.
Trade Interval:
sets the time gap between each individual trade. The user can edit this parameter, which also results in corresponding trade size and number changes.

These parameters provide significant flexibility in customizing each order, taking into account factors like market conditions and current gas fees. Additionally, the UI facilitates both dTWAP-market and dTWAP-limit orders. Once these parameters are set, the user can approve the specific source token. Place the order, and review their specified configuration.

SpookySwap Farm V2 Migration

SpookySwap Farm V2 Migration Announcement

SpookySwap is proud to announce their major feature, SpookySwap Farm V2, is going live for all farms on the SpookySwap DEX! This contract is the same as what is currently used for the newer farms, such as the recent Single Farmer V2 farms, which creates new types of investment possibilities for farmers and new types of partnerships for protocols all possible thanks to a major upgrade now on their Farm.

However, Spooky investors must manually migrate to the SpookySwap Farm V2 contract.

About Farm V2

SpookySwap has made it possible for other projects to add incentives from their own treasuries on top of BOO rewards (or independent of them), instantly without governance. Previously for SpookySwap, adding incentives from another project required utilizing Partnered Staking through BOO governance to receive a higher BOO farm weight, which favored existing well-known projects. By upgrading to Farm V2, Fantom developers will have more tools to add their own rewards instantly to LP, driving increased DEX liquidity which would in turn lower slippage and increase the overall profitability of the DEX. Protocols in a hurry to reward LPers can now quickly spin up farms for their owns tokens on the trusted SpookySwap DEX without the need for BOO Rewards and appealing to BOO Holders through governance.

For Farm V2, an unlimited number of reward tokens can be provided directly to stakers. Protocols can now choose to incentivize dual or triple rewards for LPers. Dual farm rewards in Farm v2 will also help the SpookySwap team monitor high performance pairs and collaborate with protocols who would like to be added to the list of BOO rewards farms through SpookySwap governance.

LP Migration

Most importantly, any current LP staked in V1 farms must be manually migrated over to V2. Here’s how:

Go to the Farms page on the Spooky.Fi site
Navigate to the “Inactive Tab”, showing V1 Farm LP pairs
3. Unstake your LP tokens from the inactive farm. If you only see staked LP in the Active tab and not the Inactive tab, Spooky farms have not migrated yet (or: hard refresh the page)
Stake the same LP token to the same farm, located in the “Active” tab.

The Inactive tab, located above the list of farms, displays old farms no longer earning BOO rewards

Congratulations, your LP tokens are now earning Farm V2 rewards!

LP Zapping

The Farm V2 contract will support zapping from creating an LP token directly into a farm. This allows for easier UX, less gas costs and a better experience for SpookySwap and Fantom users! Zapping support from SpookySwap is still in development and will be launching soon in the future.

Harvest All

Thanks to Spooky’s Farm V2 migration, the Harvest All button on Spooky page will one transaction for all active farms. Once again, this migration enables lower gas costs and a better experience for SpookySwap and Fantom users thanks to all farms utilizing the same contract.

Magicats Staking is now live!

SpookySwap Magicats Staking is now live! MP is awarded for each asset in the Magicat NFT, with rarer assets being worth additional MP.

To get started, navigate to the Stake BOO page of the Spooky site. From here you can scroll down to the same listing of pools for xBOO staking. You’ll quickly notice that a few xBOO pools are now listed as Boostable! The potential bonus in APR will be displayed to indicate which pools are boosted the most by the Magicat bonus.

From here, you can select cats to stake for extra APR rewards! Magicats will be sorted by their ID number in the Magicats NFT collection, and display their Magic Points (MP) to indicate their impact on the Pool APR.

For launch, bonus APR is awarded through funds directly from the Spooky Treasury. Future Magicats boosting will be awarded based on Spooky DAO governance or rewards from fellow protocols.

MP is awarded for each asset in the Magicat NFT, with rarer assets being worth additional MP. Each Magicat will also have a higher MP for special titles at the end of their name or for set matching, such as having both Grim’s hat and Grim’s wand. You can view your Magicats MP, or the MP of all Magicats on Spooky’s NFT page, through the My Magicats page or the Magicats Rarity Guide page.
