Blast’s journey towards decentralization started with the Houston Incentivized Testnet, a program created to bring the platform to the level of sustainability and security needed for maintaining best-in-industry performance after full decentralization.

The purpose of the Testnet

The purpose of the testnet was to verify all the technical aspects involved in the decentralization of the Blast API Platform. It also includes the Integrity and Staking protocols, scoring algorithm and in-house built proxy all of which should allow Blast to keep its superior performance within the industry even after decentralization. At the same time, Houston Testnet onboarded and prepared Node Providers for the mainnet launch while giving them the option to earn the necessary funds to join the platform in its production state.

Successful Program and Stress Testing

According to Bware Labs the program was beyond successful, as by the end of the Stress Testing period, Blast recorded an average throughput beyond 40000 RPS. The estimated initial throughput that will be supported on the mainnet revolves around 100k RPS With the launch of Blast’s mainnet, the speed and reliability of the API platform will rely mainly on the Proof of Quality mechanism, which refers to enabling node owners to join the Blast Protocol in a permissionless manner as Node Providers, provided that their nodes can satisfy the platform’s performance and data integrity standards.

Moreover, according to Bware Labs CEO Flavian Manea, Mainnet brings the chance for the community to participate in the protocol by delegating the company’s INFRA tokens to available staking pools.

Node Providers will thus have to stake tokens in order to participate in Blast’s protocol, other users can delegate to a Node Provider from within Blast’s delegation explorer, an easy-to-use web interface available at explorer in order to earn an APY. If you’ve been keeping tabs on our socials, you know that we’re getting ready to unveil something truly remarkable.

They have been building Dfyn V2 in stealth mode for over 6 months and now after months of iteration and development we are finally just weeks away from releasing it. Dfyn V2 is a complete reorganisation of our technical infrastructure meant to address past shortcomings and introduce a plethora of new features and options.

With this campaign we have essentially gamified almost every form of engagement with Dfyn V2 testnet. Whenever you successfully complete a task, you will be awarded some points.

As the difficulty of the tasks increase, so does the number of points accrued to your name.

DIA oracles integration with Neon Network’s testnet, will bring 20.000+ tokens and NFT price feeds to the EVM solution on Solana.

Introducing Neon

Neon is a Solana software environment that acts as a gateway for Ethereum-based applications to access Solana’s scalability and liquidity without changing their codebase. Because Neon supports the full Ethereum Virtual Machine — EVM — it allows Ethereum native developers to use familiar tools and resources while benefiting from Solana’s ability to process transactions quickly and at lower fees.

Solana’s speed, security, and low gas fees, combined with EVM support, make it an appealing combination for the Neon network, which currently supports a throughput of 2.000+ TPS and gas at 0.000015 SOL / tx.

Neon worked hard to ensure that the EVM is as simple to use as possible. Users can connect to Neon using wallets that support custom RPC APIs, giving them an Ethereum-like user experience. Introducing the DIA Data Library to Neon

DIA has integrated its open-source Oracle infrastructure with the Neon testnet network. This new update allows Neon developers to begin developing and testing a wide range of DeFi and NFTfi applications that rely on high-quality, transparent, and crowd-sourced price data feeds. The mainnet will be integrated as soon as it goes live, which is expected on December 12, 2022.

Because of Neon Network’s EVM compatibility, Ethereum native applications can be easily migrated to the Solana ecosystem with no code changes, where DIA can feed them with accurate and transparent market data. This will enable DIA to power dApps on Neon EVM with a variety of DeFi use cases such as stablecoins, staking, and mining.

How Does DIA Function?

This will allow Neon Network to support applications other than DeFi and NFTfi.

Because DIA does not rely on outside data suppliers, its proprietary open-source Oracle infrastructure distinguishes it from other Web3 data solutions. In order to create price oracles, DIA crowdsources trade data at a very granular level from both off-chain and on-chain sources.

The Pioneer 11 Testnet

Cronos has confirmed the deployment of its Cronos Gravity Bridge testnet.

Referred to as Pioneer 11, the Gravity Bridge is built to function as a “decentralized bridge between Cronos and the Ethereum mainnet.”

In its announcement, Cronos noted that the Pioneer 11 testnet differs from the official Cronos testnet. Since, it was built specifically for testing if the Cronos Gravity Bridge would connect to the Ethereum Goerli testnet.

About the Cronos Gravity Bridge 

In developing its Gravity Bridge testnet, the Cronos Chain engaged the use of Cosmos’ gravity bridge technology. This technology facilitates the transfer of ERC20 cryptocurrency tokens from and to Ethereum through a mint/lock mechanism.

Built with the aid of Cosmos’ PeggyJV gravity bridge project, Cronos’ Gravity Bridge testnet aims to allow the transfer of ERC20 cryptocurrency tokens and CRC20 tokens from and to the Ethereum network and the Cronos network using a similar mint/lock mechanism.

Put simply, here is how the Cronos Chain’s Gravity Bridge Testnet works:

• When a user sends assets from Ethereum to Cronos, the corresponding ERC20 token is locked in a smart contract on the Ethereum side and minted on the Cronos side in the form of a CRC20 token.
• When a user sends assets from Cronos to Ethereum, the corresponding CRC20 token is burned on the Cronos side, and the ERC20 token is released on the Ethereum side.

About Pioneer 11

In its announcement, the Cronos Chain further noted that Pioneer 11 consists of the following:

• Solidity Smart Contract: This smart contract is called “CronosGravity.sol” housed on the Ethereum testnet and holds the native ERC20 assets sent across the bridge.
• Orchestrators and Relayer(s): These are networks in charge of synchronizing the state of the Ethereum Goerli testnet and Cronos Gravity Bridge testnet. Fully decentralized, the orchestrators will be run by Cronos Validators. Relayer(s), on the other hand, is charged with sending signed updates to the Gravity Bridge contract on Ethereum.
• Cosmos SDK Module: Subject to an agreement among the Cronos validators, a Cosmos SDK module will be deployed to handle the minting of assets at the Cosmos layer of the Cronos chain.
• Cronos Hook Module: This will allow the automatic conversion between the assets at the Cosmos layer of the Cronos chain. And the equivalent assets at the EVM (Ethereum compatible) layer of the Cronos chain.
