Automata Network released Bi-weekly Update

Getting up close and personal with Automata community was the theme for the first half of July as the team participated in a number of different AMAs and online conferences. They’re also really happy to share that Witness has been garnering quite the industry support with not one, not two, but three partnerships under its belt.

Technology

[Protocol and infrastructure]

• Implementation of testnet upgrade to Substrate v3 with EVM compatibility;
• Designed the architecture for upper layer services on Substrate;
• Resolved Geode’s issue to support multiple endpoints for different relayer accounts;
• Enhanced Ethereum client workflow to minimize lock effect;
• Improved and supported multiple URI for a singular Ethereum client;
• Looked into the attestor/fulfillment/geode functionality on chain pallet

[Product and tools]

• Conveyor repository clean-up and consolidation;
• Set up and run remote mainnet fork for Conveyor;
• Implemented gasless transactions for Conveyor, with preview version;
• Conveyor workflow logic improvement and functionality testing;
• Frontend update on Conveyor for gas fee alert and liquidity fee calculation;
• Supported querying token price from CoinGecko and PancakeSwap API

Ecosystem

• Witness started on a great note with a partnership with Moonbeam Network, with dApp builders and developers now able to use the private governance solution on Moonbase Alpha.
• We also brought privacy-protection to
  Polygon

  by way of Witness and Conveyor, the latter, a MEV Minimization solution, offering support to DEXes based on the scalable protocol.

• Last but not least, in an announcement with
  MathChain

  , Witness was introduced to the Layer 2 blockchain based on Substrate, further building out the

  Polkadot

  ecosystem with the incorporation of private governance into protocols.

Community

• We’re officially on
  Blockfolio

• Organized by ETHGlobal and Flashbots, our Co-Founder, Deli, found himself at the MEV.wtf Summit where he spoke at length on MEV, its growing gravity, and how we are looking to solve it today. Catch up with him here.
