Maxwell Preview Network Weekly Report

Crust Decentralized Storage Market was officially opened on February 28th, 2021 (GMT+8). There are 2,682 nodes in the entire network, with a total storage capacity of 637 PB as of July 12th. The network is currently in a state of lack of tokens.

Starting from the evening of May 5th, Crust Maxwell preview network has reduced production, and after that, the daily output of the preview network will be 1,500 CRU.

Profit Data

“Profit Data” is currently live. The report of this activity is published every Monday. As of July 12th, the data computing power of the entire network reached 147.3TP, and the effective staking amount of the entire network CSM was 1.5157M.

CoinAsk X Crust

At 16:00 on July 15th, CoinAsk.io, one of the OpenSquare’s products, set up a Crust Chinese community. CoinAsk.io and Crust organized the first AMA of “Profit Data” for the Chinese community..

Crust X OpenSquare

Crust officially settled in CoinAsk.io, developed by OpenSquare, as its official Chinese community, and provides incentives to high-quality content creators from time to time. OpenSquare will provide at least 100,000 OSN as incentives to the positive interactions between members of the Crust community and the project in the long term.

Proposal to “Profit Data” Activity

A new proposal was added to the Crust Democracy section. This proposal proposes solutions for the “Profit Data”activity to increase the willingness of nodes to accept orders and ease network congestion. Community members are welcome to vote and express their opinions democratically.

Rapid Increase of Overseas Followers

The number of Crust Telegram and Twitter followers has reached new highs. Let’s build the Crust community together! At present, the twitter followers of Crust (@CrustNetwork) have reached 87.4k; the twitter followers of community (@CommunityCrust) have reached 64.9k; the users in the Crust main telegram group(there are also branch telegram groups in other countries) reached 70k.

Web3.0 Blockchain Application Conference

On July 14, Crust was invited to participate in “Web3.0 Blockchain Application Conference — Computing Power Overseas and Distributed Storage Conference”in Chengdu hosted by bitkoala. Many academic advisors, experts, and investors came to the site for panel discussion on cutting-edge topics of blockchain. Crust was invited to participate in the panel of “IPFS Technology Development Trends”.

Substrate Seminar

On July 17, Crust participated in the Substrate Seminar in Hangzhou to discuss that the era of decentralized computing is coming. The second Polkadot Hackathon Developer Competition was also held in Hangzhou. Crust was invited to participate in the panel of “The Era of Decentralized Computing is Coming” and share insights.
