Standard Protocol Released Bi-weekly Updates (Jul 06 — Jul 19)
It has been a while since Standard last update, but it is really worth the wait as its team ensures to deliver the best news for you all. Following the launch of their first Opportunity Standalone Testnet built on the Substrate framework last month, their team didn’t rest here but continue striving for growth opportunities and conquering next milestones.

Standard is very proud to announce two exciting news — Standard Protocol is joining two great communities — Polygon and Creative Destruction Labs (CDL-Toronto)
- Standard Protocol is granted with #DefiForAll Fund from Polygon (ANN Link): The grant marks a new milestone for Standard’s future on being a chain-agnostic multi-ecosystem stablecoin protocol by working alongside with all other top Defi projects on this chain for the team to work alongside with top DeFi projects on Polygon.
- Standard Protocol is accepted into Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) Blockchain Program 2011/22 Cohort (ANN Link): CDL is the Founding Partner of the Libra Association and a startup incubator program powered by a strong community and visionaries. Mentors include accomplished entrepreneurs Ethan Buchman, Co-Founder of Cosmos, economic export Joshua Gans, as well as successful investors Anthony Lacavera.
By joining Polygon and CDL, they look forward to partnering with renowned DeFi projects and learning from industry leaders to sharpen their business strategy, and unlock more potential for our team to expand Standard’s vision in building the next generation of the stablecoin ecosystem.
Technical Development
- Launched Rococo Testnet. They are one step closer to being on Polkadot.
- After receiving Polygon #DefiForAll grant, they’re now building bridge to Polygon
- They’re working on the DEX module and its UI. More details soon.
- They have added a #faucet channel on Discord to let their Opportunity Testnet validator to easily !drip some test token OPT and start playing around.

- Their Staking Campaign has successfully wrapped up! Thank you for all the support and participation from their great community. Winner list and reward claiming instruction here (link)
- Turkish Kucoin AMA — As their first community event hosted by their Turkish community, they are overjoyed with the warm welcome and receive 300+ questions on Standard Protocol.
