GeekPandaz Unveiled Mint Date, Launch Details, an Updated Roadmap, and much, much more!
Introduction
Ladies, Gentlemen and Pandaz,
It is the biggest day in Pandaria’s young history today.
Keeping things brief; GeekPandaz have been working hard behind the scenes to lock in the key dates of their official launch. As you have all seen by now, they are officially listed on Immutable X, and they have had the safety and security of their smart contract verified by their engineers.
They are so excited to utilize the powers of their L2 solution, and deliver all Pandaz a gas-free minting and trading experience. No purchase of an asset should come with prohibitive gas fees, and they were always going to build on the solution that meant their treasured Panda family would not experience them.
So, without further ado — the launch!
- They have decided to launch the GeekPandaz public mint on Immutable X at 3pm EST, on Friday, the 12th of November, 2021.
- The mint price will be 0.065 ETH per GeekPanda. Remember, there are no gas fees for minting on Immutable X.
- Whitelisted members will be able to mint their GeekPandaz over a 24-hour, gas-free presale period, launching at 3pm EST on Thursday, the 11th of November, 2021.
- If you are not yet whitelisted, have no fear: The Opening Ceremony of the Pandaria Olympics, their next whitelisting phase, will commence in the coming days.
Updates to their roadmap!
To celebrate their release of the mint date, they’ve also updated the #roadmap and #FAQ sections of their Discord. A few highlights include the launch of:
- A Community Chest, seeded with 69 ETH upon sell-out, and the donation of a portion of mint proceeds and ongoing royalties to charity.
- The breeding of GeekPandaz NFTs to produce unique MetaPandaz. MetaPandaz will receive their own staking platform, earning $BAMBOO tokens (ERC20) that will be listed on a decentralized exchange.
- An incubator and launchpad for NFT blockchain games on IMX.
- GeekPandaz VX, a series of playable voxel-based avatars for The Sandbox metaverse.
- The Bamboo Shop, in which Pandaz can purchase custom equipment and wearables for the GeekPandaz VX metaverse avatars.
