Before diving into the details of the Open Beta Test, they would like to once again extend another thank you to everyone who participated in their Closed Beta Test. They are humbled by the responses and suggestions from players, and extremely thankful for all the ways players across the globe have helped them prepare for the game’s launch.
What is the Aim of the Open Beta?
In the Open Beta Test, our primary aim is to start testing the stability of the game economics. The design of game economics in NFT games is the most critical aspect that will determine the long-term success of a game. Testing and balancing are key in this endeavor and this can only be done with a sizable number of players, something we expect to achieve with the Open Beta Test.
They also want to give our early supporters a chance to get familiarized with the features that will be in the Mainnet version as well as some features that will appear in later versions. They will continue to listen to your feedback and make necessary changes to improve the game before the Mainnet’s launch.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Everything in the Open Beta version will be in Testnet; that means all assets such as monsters and tokens are not be transferable to the Mainnet version.
- The configuration and game rules are not finalized as they can be revised from any point between now and until the Mainnet is released.
What Are the Key Features in the Open Beta?
Below are some of the key features in the Open Beta:
- Catch/Battle Monsters: Catch, train, and battle Monsters on the blockchain timeline.
2. Marketplace: Buy and sell Monsters.
3. Portfolio: Get a detailed look at the Monsters you have caught and their attributes.
4. Leaderboard: Check out the top performers in different categories such as hunting, training, and selling.
5. VIP Tier System: Test out their new loyalty system where $BCMC holders will have access to rewarding battles on the blockchain timeline with better profits. The more $BCMC one holds, the more benefits. (Note: The Open Beta tier numbers are just for testing purposes, Mainnet tiers will be set with different configurations.)
6. Ambros Chain Testnet: Test out Ambros — our new in-house sidechain and energy system that serves as an optimizer for gas fees.
7. Customizable Character Avatars: Create your own character avatar to represent you in the Metaverse.
8. PvP in the Metaverse: Challenge other players via the cross-chain PvP system in their Metaverse in teams of 3 vs 3. More details about this gameplay feature will be available by the end of November 2021.
Here’s How You Can Start Playing in the Open Beta:
- Install MetaMask into your browser.
- Login to your Metamask account and select the wallet address you used when you joined the Closed Beta Competition.
- Go to https://bcmhunt.com/ and select PLAY NOW on the top right of your screen. You can access this from 11:30 PM UTC onwards on 8th November 2021.
- Sign in with the registered wallet address.
- Claim your free ETH and BNB test tokens at https://faucet.rinkeby.io/ and https://testnet.binance.org/faucet-smart respectively. The game is available on the Rinkeby Testnet and Binance Smart Chain Testnet.
- Claim 100 BCMC tokens from https://test.bcmhunt.com/faucet.
- Join their Discord Open Beta channels to report bugs, share your feedback, and take part in community events.
Community Events During the Open Beta
Following Part ONE of the $50,000 NFT airdrop event during their Initial NFT Offering campaign, they will be running Part TWO and THREE of this airdrop event during the Open Beta with more than $15,000 worth of rewards in Genesis Monsters and $BCMC. They hope these events will add more to the fun as players explore the game.
