What is Big Time?
Big Time is a multiplayer RPG game where you can team up with friends to adventure across time and space. In the Big Time Universe, you are not limited to playing a single class. The Timeline system allows players to level up the same character in multiple class paths and switch to the desired class on the fly. With a unique arsenal of weaponries for each class, Big Time opens up various combinations of tactics for players to use in game.
Unique Play to Earn Mechanism
Everyone seems to think that being first is the best, but that is not always the case. Big Time has had the luxury to research and analyze different play-to-earn mechanisms, which in turn has different benefits and drawbacks. That being said, Big Time has developed a very unique and interesting play-to-earn mechanism designed for the benefits of players and the game’s economy.
Differing from the current norm in blockchain based games, Big Time does not only provide a unique play to earn mechanism, but is also free to play. The core earning mechanism is relatively easy to understand — complete quests to earn tokens. Although this is true, players are unable to collect tokens without a core component in the play-to-earn economy of Big Time known as the hourglass.
The hourglass brings the whole game together — the hourglass is an asset which must be replenished. If the hourglass is not replenished, users will not be able to earn any tokens. The hourglass can be replenished by the almighty ‘Time Keeper’. This is Big Time’s way of creating a compromise in that players can earn while ensuring that the emission rates of their tokens do not cause too much sell pressure.
It is also important to note that with every well-designed game, there are a plethora of in-game utility for their token. Big Time has ensured that this is the case, by making it so that players can use their tokens for things such as repairing items and purchasing exclusive NFTs. These utilities, in conjunction with the concept of the hourglass and replenishing, ensures that the economy of Big Time will thrive.
Big Time understands that the token is a core component of the game, and that to keep the game enjoyable, the token needs a fair launch. To ensure this, Big Time has made it so that there are no token presales to any parties (even the team themselves). To acquire tokens, you must play the game, fair and square, like everyone else.
