AtomicDEX Adds Polygon, Avalanche, Harmony, 10 More Protocols
Komodo, a leader in blockchain interoperability and Atomic swap technology, has added Polygon, Avalanche, Harmony, and ten other blockchain protocols to AtomicDEX.
AtomicDEX is a non-custodial multi-coin wallet and atomic swap-powered DEX rolled into one app, showing that a multichain/multiprotocol reality can be accessible, secure, and truly peer-to-peer.
Users on these various chains will now be able to access their cryptocurrencies natively without the need for wrapped or proxy tokens, resulting in seamless transactions across multiple chains.
Komodo’s CTO Kadan Stadelmann says,
“We usually think that blockchain bridges are super limited to a one-way or two-way-bridge such as Ethereum to Binance, but adding these protocols like Polygon and Avalanche really adds a whole new level of accessibility for users to make quicker and smoother cross-chain and cross-protocol transactions while still keeping custody of their keys.”
About AtomicDEX
Using centralized exchanges like Coinbase or FTX to transfer assets, can also cause lockups and wait times on withdrawals, or result in withdrawals being stalled and suspended when gas fees are high.
AtomicDEX charges zero fees for market makers and only 0.13% for market takers, while gas fees are miniscule for trading cross-chain for the vast majority of supported blockchains.
Additionally, it has a built-in non-custodial wallet that enables users to hold funds or withdraw to an external wallet at any time.
The new 13 protocols being added to Komodo’s AtomicDEX include Avalanche, Polygon, Harmony, Fantom, smartBCH, Ethereum Classic, Moonriver, KuCoin Community Chain, Huobi ECO Chain, Flux, Ubiq, Arbitrum (wallet only), and Optimism (wallet only) — allowing users to swap from Ethereum to BSC or vice versa, Avalanche to BSC or vice versa, Polygon to Avalanche, and so on.
