Cosmostation Mobile Wallet Update
Cosmostation Mobile Wallet Update V1.6: themes, mnemonic management, unlimited wallets, automatic gas estimation, and multi vote.
There are 5 major changes included in this update:
1. Users can now switch between light & dark theme mode
2. Manage wallets by mnemonics
3. Create as many wallets as desired
4. Enjoy automatic gas amount estimation applied by the wallet
5. Cast multiple votes in a single transaction
Theme
Cosmostation wallet now supports 3 theme modes: system, light mode, dark mode. If set to ‘System’, the theme is set in accordance with a user’s device’s default setting. Selecting ‘Light Mode’ overrides the device’s default setting and shows bright colored UI. Similarly, selecting ‘Dark Mode’ does the opposite.
Wallet Management by Mnemonics
Cosmostation mobile wallet supports HD(Hierarchical Deterministic) wallets accessed by a mnemonic phrase, a more readable and easily recognizable form of a Master Seed generated by BIP-0039. A HD Wallet is a wallet that can generate virtually infinite numbers of private/public key pairs with a single Master Seed. Given that a mnemonic phrase can have many wallets, and not the other way around, Cosmostation mobile wallet is now accommodating the users with the most orderly way of managing multiple wallets with its new mnemonic phrase centered wallet management system.
Users can import, create, delete as many mnemonic phrases they want with Cosmostation mobile wallet. Cosmostation mobile wallet supports up to 10 HD paths per mnemonic phrase. Since a single HD path usually supports a single wallet per chain, a Cosmostation mobile wallet user can normally create & manage up to 10 wallets per chain tied to a single mnemonic phrase.
