World Challenge Game Integrates Chainlink VRF
World Challenge Game has integrated Chainlink Verifiable Random Function (VRF) on Polygon mainnet.
By integrating Chainlink, World Challenge now has access to a tamper-proof and auditable source of randomness. It needed to help randomize the “genetics” of an NFT within our first NFT collection. Ultimately, this creates a more exciting and transparent user experience. As users have cryptographically verifiable assurances that the NFT minting process is underpinned by a provably random number generator.
World Challenge game is a board game that combines strategy and general knowledge (trivia) to create a unique, fun, and competitive experience. It’s a seamless blend of both the digital and the physical. The physical board game can be purchased online or in stores to play in a traditional tabletop format. For digital players, the World Challenge game exists natively in a mobile app so that they can play and compete against users around the world.
The World Challenge Game smart contract will only accept the random number input if it has a valid cryptographic proof, and the cryptographic proof can only be generate if the VRF process is tamper-proof. This provides its users with automated and verifiable assurances directly on-chain that the randomness underpinning the genetics of a given NFT is provably fair and was not tampered with by the oracle, outside entities, or the World Challenge Game team.
