Hero Arena is a blockchain-based metaverse RPG game, inspired by Dota2 and built on Binance Smart Chain and Polygon. Players will be able to play and earn tokens by engaging in the Hero Arena ecosystem through recruiting and training heroes, dungeon quests and joining campaigns and battling with other players through skilled PvE and PvP game-play.
Hero Character NFTs
To get started, players will need to recruit heroes from the marketplace. Hero Arena will feature 20 000 heroes belonging to one of five different races or factions. The 5 different races are; Warlord, Orc, Elf, Undead and Beast. Each race will consist of 8 different characters belonging to one of 3 classes; Warrior, Archer or Mage.
Heroes will spawn at different rarity levels, with the rarest to least rare tier being; Immortal, Legendary, Rare, Elite and Common.
Each hero and faction has its own unique strengths, weaknesses and utility in battle. Players will be able to build on and level up their characters’ stats through completing quests and training and enhancing them with items and weapons by casting, staking or purchasing them from the marketplace.
Gamers will be able to rent out their NFTs, giving them the ability to further monetize their characters without selling them. This will allow other players to temporarily recruit and battle with leveled-up or more powerful characters that they may not be able to access otherwise if they needed to purchase them outright.
Game-Play and Play-to-Earn Opportunities
Hero Arena will give players multiple compelling options to participate in play-to-earn opportunities, with daily quests, dungeon raids, PvP battles and even a free-to-play option.
- Daily Missions and Quests: With daily quests, players will be able to complete missions by fighting monsters and generals and training their heroes to earn tokens.
- Dungeons: Players will have the option to fight individual bosses in dungeons every 8 hours to earn items and tokens. The battle difficulty will depend on your character level.
- PvP Battles: In this mode, players will have the opportunity to assemble teams of three heroes to engage in exciting turn-based battles against other opponents. Players will need to pay $HERA tokens as a fee to engage in winner-takes-all combat to earn tokens and move up the leaderboard.
Players will also be able to earn while playing offline with the AFK, play for free to earn small token rewards and also stake their heroes to gain experience, items and level-up, along with earning token rewards.
At the Blacksmith, there will be the option to cast items or recast multiple items to increase their value and quality and use them to add power to your character or sell them on the NFT marketplace.
The Hero Arena future will feature a map of the Hero Arena metaverse, a pet system, the addition of new character classes, and Guild battles and chat rooms, to create an even more immersive experience for gamers.
Tokens
HERA GEM ($HEGEM)
$HEGEM is Hera Arena’s core operation token. Players will be able to earn $HEGEM in the game and use it to add equipment to their heroes, unlock skills, upgrade power, and access opportunities to win rare gear. Other uses will be; casting new items and weapons and creating guilds and building powerful teams along with other operational game functions.
$HEGEM has no fixed supply and will be tradable on the market.
$HERA
$HERA is Hero Arena’s main game token and will be used for purchasing Heroes on the marketplace, revenue sharing through farming and staking, earning opportunities in special events and tournaments, and participation in governance. $HERA will be used for all marketplace transactions.
Through governance participation, $HERA holders will be able to stake their tokens to vote on future game and ecosystem features, with opportunities to earn rare items.
$HERA includes a deflationary mechanism. 20 percent of $HERA used for marketplace purchases will be burned.
