Oasys Launches Ecosystem Fund

Oasys, a gaming-optimised blockchain built by gamers for gamers, has announced the launch of the Oasys Ecosystem Fund, a pioneering initiative that aims to enable new entrants to the burgeoning blockchain gaming space to better serve the market and drive mass adoption.

The Oasys Ecosystem Fund will prioritise early-stage projects that are focused on building out the ecosyste. Oasys has a grant programme that provides OAS tokens to projects that meet certain criteria. But these tokens are typically only used for marketing purposes. The Fund will provide financial support and also drive the operation and growth of emerging projects.

To accelerate time to market and reduce costs. The start-ups that receive funding through the Oasys Ecosystem Fund will not only receive capital. But will also have access to the knowledge network and expertise of the Oasys team. As well as Oasys’ partner network, including internationally renowned gaming investor Galaxy Interactive.

Galaxy Interactive participated in Oasys’ strategic funding round that was completed last month, alongside South Korean gaming giant Nexon, the company behind the wildly popular gaming franchise MapleStory.

Oasys Welcomes ChainGuardians to its Ecosystem

Oasys has welcomed ChainGuardians to its ecosystem and been selected as the blockchain of choice for the development and launch of two blockchain games — ChainArena and ChainGunnies.

ChainArena is an action-packed idle role-playing game featuring ChainGuardians’ own superheroes in their first mobile game appearance. With early access available now, the full release is expected by the end of the year. Meanwhile, ChainGunnies is a frenetic FPS Horror Survival game pitting everyone’s favorite rascally rabbits against their undead kin. ChainGuardians will also be building its own Layer-2 chain — or “Verse” — on Oasys’ Layer-1 chain. Celer Partners with Oasys to Integrate Celer IM and cBridge into the Ecosystem as the Interoperability Layer.

Celer will be partnering with Oasys, a game-focused blockchain, by providing support for both asset bridging and generic message passing for their ecosystem! Oasys is a new blockchain optimized for gaming that is working with notable AAA video game developers. The Oasys ecosystem consists of a “Hub” that connects to external blockchains, and multiple internal “Verses”. All have unique games and dApps built on them. Celer Partners with Oasys

Oasys Raised $20 Million

Oasys raised $20 million in a seed funding round. It was led by Republic Capital, a blockchain financing and investment platform, with participation by other renowned investors.

With the participation of notable investors such as Jump Crypto, Crypto.com Huobi, Kucoin, Gate.io, Bitbank, and Mirana Ventures, the seed funding becomes successful.

Moreover, Oasys Architecture is built for game developers. It also offers a high-speed, zero gas fee experience to users. Additionally, by combining the best of public L1 and private L2 blockchain technology solutions.

Furthermore, the Hub-Layer is an EVM-compatible public blockchain of Layer 1 in Oasys. The node implementation is based on a forked version of geth (Go Ethereum) with minimal modifications and adopts PoS (Proof of Stake) as the consensus algorithm. Additionally, the public nature of blockchain operation is ensured by allowing users to become node operators (validators).

In order to provide a stable environment for blockchain use, application execution is left to the Verse-Layer, and the Hub-Layer is restricted to limited uses for recording rollup information, managing FT/NFT, and managing bridge information. Smart contracts cannot be deployed directly on Hub-Layer.

Hub-Layer stores the data gathered on Oasys securely and in a stable manner, not to run applications directly. To ensure stable propagation of information to globally distributed nodes, blocks are generated every 15 seconds to avoid excessively short block generation times.

Also, to avoid meaningless transaction execution, they will avoid excessively low gas costs and set an appropriate minimum gas cost. The goal is to achieve a minimum gas cost of approximately 1 cent per transfer, depending on the prevailing market price.

Oasys is building a global game alliance involving traditional gaming companies, web3 companies, crypto-native gaming ecosystem builders, etc. We will continue working to build a stronger blockchain gaming ecosystem to bring mass adoption to reality going forward.
