Enzyme Finance Now Includes Yearn Vaults On Its Platform

Published on: 05.07.2021

This gives Portfolio Managers within the Enzyme App new opportunities to open up yield farming strategies specifically designed to their needs.

Yearn Vault strategies allow users to provide liquidity through their range of Vaults in exchange for yield earned from farming strategies. These strategies in turn generate aggregate liquidity provider (LP) rewards, interest returns, as well as trading fees, and/or any other gains. Vault strategies are specifically constructed to minimise ETH gas costs by batch processing transactions.

With Enzyme now hosting Yearn vaults, users can access a wide range of Yearn strategies and manage them under one single Vault.

Whilst mimicking some Yearn-like strategies is possible natively on Enzyme today, there are some compelling reasons why you might want to leverage Yearn vaults from within an Enzyme vault;

  • Do you find yourself actively allocating capital from one Yearn vault to another (or from anything else in DeFi to Yearn for that matter!)? If so, you will find it much easier to keep track of everything in one place. By performing all your DeFi activities from within an Enzyme vault you can track current and historic performance metrics on a real-time basis from the comfort of one, simple and easy-to-use interface.
  • If you are managing a relatively small portfolio and want to farm a part of it, it might make economical sense for you to use Yearn because of possible gas cost-saving benefits. If you think the gas costs of running a similar strategy natively on Enzyme outweigh the management/performance fees you would pay to Yearn — Yearn provides a brilliant solution for you!
  • Yearn enables you to cruise in “auto-pilot” mode, saving you the time it takes to research and stay on top of the most attractive farming strategies available. If you’re a busy person and don’t have the time to actively manage between the best yields, it makes sense for you to explore what Yearn vaults can do for you.

The Yearn vaults that have been added to Enzyme today include:

How to access the Yearn Vaults via Enzyme Finance?

Go to Vault Manager tab, go to Yield and sort by the asset you are interested in generating your yield on. Once you have done this, you will be able to see all Vaults in which this asset is stored, and the associated options to lend out these assets per Vault.
