Meter Ecosystem Update
Meter ecosystem update represents how Meter Network grows its project constantly. At Meter Foundation, its key focus is Meter ecosystem growth and ensuring critical infrastructure support to enhance new dApp deployments and developer experience.
Meter Passport v1.5 successfully went live in October after the completion of a rigorous external audit by Haechi Audit. With Meter Passport v1.5, Meter Network is now used as the relay chain with a signature collection contract deployed on Meter for the relayers to vote. Compared to other EVM chains, the instant finality behavior on Meter Network makes it a better Relay Chain.
In addition, the new design introduces lower bridging cost (reduced operational overhead for the relayers), increased Relayer uptime (with dual RPC Endpoints), and increased liveness (users can submit Relayer’s signature directly on the destination chain).
Partnership and Integration
Meter successfully partners with Ledger. Hardware wallets provide a safer way to store crypto assets due to their ability to manage the private key (used for signing transactions) offline. They provide an additional layer of security against the risks of compromised private keys (phishing attacks) or malicious smart contracts.
Legends at War x Meter
Legends at War (L.A.W.), an advanced MMORTS Play-and-earn game produced by Sabre Games, announced a partnership to launch the game on the Meter Blockchain.
Set in Medieval Europe, L.A.W. enables players to build cities, train armies, hire legendary heroes, wage war, and forge alliances in an on-chain sandbox environment featuring real-time battles of up to 100 participants. The game offers the most immersive on-chain experience for gamers to date.

Meter Mallows NFT
The Meter Mallows — a fun NFT project that enables users to customize mallows, breed new mallows, and trade mallows in the NFT marketplace, launched on Meter Mainnet this month. The NFT project won second place in the NFT category for the 2022 Meter Ethereum Hackathon.
Golucky Relaunch
Golucky.io, one of the first dApps on the Network is set to relaunch with a new raffle design on Meter Network. With daily raffle participation costing as low as 0.1 MTRG and 5 VOLT, the new design provides a great opportunity for the community to play some fun daily raffles.
Network Statistics
Total Value Locked: The TVL on the Meter ecosystem is $2.8 million currently on Voltswap and Chee Finance. Its primary focus in the coming months remains to onboard DApps. Bring more TVL and user base to the Meter ecosystem.
- Staking and Node Operation: There are currently 291 nodes on the mainnet supporting 10.4% APY on staking with 48.17% of the circulating supply staked.
- Blocks and Transactions: surpassed over 30 million blocks on the Meter mainnet with an average latency of 2.4 seconds. Total transactions stood around 9.5 million.
- User Wallets: The user wallets continued to grow to 8353 wallets.
- Gasless Swap: With a growing ecosystem, CEX integrations, and community, Meter introduced gasless swap for new users on https://wallet.meter.io/swap. Users can now get MTR for native gas transactions independently.
- MTRG Burn: Another month, another burn of transaction fees. Meter has now burned an overall of 11500 MTRG through its burn program.
