WANCHAIN UPDATES FROM APRIL 2021.

April proved to be yet another productive month for not only Wanchain, but the whole Wanchain ecosystem! With new integrations, new partnerships, and some major development updates, let’s get right into it!
On April 15th, the Wanchain Mainnet underwent a hardfork dubbed “Jupiter”. This hardfork makes Wanchain fully compatible with Ethereum. This paves the way for the launch of Wanchain’s highly anticipated Ethereum Layer-2 solution. The “Jupiter” hard fork also gives Wanchain access to popular Ethereum-based tools such as MetaMask. The decentralized XRP cross-chain bridges connecting XRP Ledger, Wanchain and Ethereum are now live and operational, allowing users to put their XRP to work and engage with the world’s many DeFi applications including WanSwap and ZooKeeper! They are pleased to announce that we have entered into a strategic partnership with 0Chain, combining Wanchain’s industry-leading blockchain interoperability expertise with 0Chain’s high-performance decentralised storage network. Get up to speed here. Cross-chain wrapped value has rocketed up to $60M, up from just $26.5M last month – yet another increase of more than 100%! WanSwap and WanLend liquidity and volume have also seen incredible growth since last month, with WanSwap now up to $60M, a 4x increase!
