DIA Unveils Full On-Chain Oracle on Arbitrum Testnet! Following its recent launch on Base Sepolia, DIA is proud to introduce DIA Lumina to the Arbitrum testnet. This represents a pivotal advancement in our journey toward fully on-chain oracle solutions.

Traditional oracles often depend on off-chain computation, which introduces trust assumptions and limits transparency. In contrast, DIA Lumina revolutionizes this process by ensuring that data sourcing, processing, and aggregation are conducted entirely on-chain. By eliminating off-chain intermediaries, DIA Lumina offers developers a fully verifiable and trustless oracle infrastructure—an essential advancement for robust and scalable mainnet deployment.

Authentic On-Chain Oracles for Arbitrum

With the launch of the Arbitrum testnet, developers can now explore DIA Lumina’s on-chain price feeds. They have the option to utilize both pull-based and push-based oracle mechanisms, facilitating the seamless integration of transparent, decentralized data feeds. This testnet phase is crucial for refining its technology and gathering feedback to improve DIA Lumina in preparation for its mainnet launch.

Enhancing the On-Chain Oracle Ecosystem

The deployment of DIA Lumina on Arbitrum marks a significant milestone on our journey toward the Mainnet. As DIA expands across various ecosystems, each testnet integration brings us closer to providing a transparent and verifiable data infrastructure for Web3 applications.

What is DIA?

DIA is a trustless oracle network that provides data feeds for various assets, such as tokens, Liquid Staking Tokens, and Real-World Assets, to any blockchain. It operates permissionlessly, enabling decentralized data sourcing secured by crypto-economic and cryptographic mechanisms.

DIA is thrilled to be collaborating with LINK on their aim to establish the first market pricing oracle for the Naira, Nigeria’s indigenous currency. The LINK Africa protocol has access to real-time price information for the Nigerian Naira (NGN) on-chain as a result of this integration. The Oracle was first deployed on the Polygon network.

Africa faces a significant market problem, characterised by high fees, poor/multiple exchange rates, and slow settlement times for financial transactions. In response, LINK developed a payment infrastructure using blockchain technology. Another important piece of this infrastructure, which was crucial for smart contract transaction execution, required a blockchain oracle to deliver a price feed with the latest exchange rate of the Nigerian Naira.

As no other oracle was capable of providing such a feed, LINK collaborated with DIA to realise the project. DIA promptly deployed a custom feed for LINK, creating the first price oracle for the Nigerian Naira. This price feed is meticulously constructed by fetching trade data from digital asset exchanges and applying cleansing filters and price-determining methodologies.

Adoption and Usage of the Oracle

The Oracle has already been integrated into various dApps, including DFX Finance, which is quite exciting. DFX Finance is a decentralised foreign exchange (FX) protocol designed specifically for exchanging fiat-backed foreign stablecoins. On the Polygon network, the oracle powers an NGN/USD pool.

A Transparent Delivery

The NGN price oracle was implemented with bespoke configurations per LINK’s needs, ensuring easy connection with the oracle-powered dApps. LINK has requested and made these configuration settings publicly available in the DIA Forum in a transparent manner.

In conclusion, the partnership between LINK and DIA marks a transformative moment in the history of cross-border payments in Africa. It paves the way for a future where individuals and businesses can thrive on a level playing field, unrestricted by geographical boundaries or legacy financial systems.

About LINK Africa

LINK Africa is a cutting-edge Web3 company that revolutionises cross-border payments for the next billion Africans. Offering the tools and the infrastructure for developers and businesses to build scalable cross-border payments use cases as well as leverage LINK’s end-to-end product utilizing complex blockchain technology presented in the simplest form for businesses ranging from on/off ramps looking to scale to the continent, to local savings platforms looking to provide USD and higher foreign currency yields, to every day businesses just looking for ways to pay and get paid globally.

About DIA

Qoda has officially integrated DIA’s oracle feeds into its lending and borrowing platform. This integration amplifies Qoda’s commitment to expanding the range of crypto assets available for use, transforming the way digital assets are used in DeFi.

This integration gives Qoda access to a diverse array of on-chain price data, enabling users to deposit collateral, lend, and borrow assets typically unavailable on other fixed-income dApps.

To support a broad range of digital assets on its platform, Qoda requires accurate and real-time data feeds delivered on the Moonbeam network as an oracle smart contract. Hence, the integration of DIA oracles includes:

Live Price Feeds for Digital Assets

Qoda’s smart contracts use DIA’s oracle feeds to obtain up-to-date and accurate price data for a diverse range of assets including ASTR, ACA, and D2O. This ensures the proper accounting of risk and enhances Qoda’s creditworthiness as users must over-collateralize to initiate borrow positions in our markets.

DIA’s oracle feeds provide Qoda with a fully transparent and customizable oracle solution. This arrangement enables Qoda to tailor the feeds to best match their application’s needs and to build resilient price feeds for the selected tokens.

About DIA

DIA redefines oracles on 30+ L1/L2s: Fully customisable, unmet asset coverage, 100% transparent. Enabling new primitives for DeFi, NFTfi and GameFi.

DIA’s data feeds are fully customized with regards to the mix of sources and methodologies, resulting in tailor-made, high-resilience feeds and thereby setting a new paradigm for oracles.

About Qoda

Qoda is a decentralized loan exchange with several key features such as an on-chain order book for lending/borrowing, isolated collateral-tier vs market-tier assets, repayment redemption ratio and many more. These features give users more control and flexibility over their crypto portfolio.

Qoda aims to broaden the spectrum of crypto assets used in lending/borrowing beyond popular assets like USDC, ETH, and BTC. Its pursuit of this goal has led to a fruitful collaboration with DIA, an oracle provider specializing in the creation of reliable price oracles for long-tail assets.

DIA partners with Orbiter One a decentralized peer-2-peer lending and borrowing platform focused on cross-chain interoperability.

Orbiter One has officially integrated DIA’s transparent price oracle to list 10+ tokens and LSDs in its cross-chain, peer-to-peer lending protocol on Moonbeam. Being deployed on the Polkadot parachains Moonriver and Moonbeam, Orbiter One user can use the power of cross-chain EVM compatibility to get the most out of their lending experience.

Orbiter One is in the process of being audited, the results of which will be published shortly after launch. At launch, Orbiter One users are able to use over 14 assets for lending and borrowing on the Moonriver blockchain. All of which DIA will provide the pricing oracles. Special attention is given to Liquid Staking Derivatives (LSD). It plays a significant role in the Orbiter One ecosystem. It enables their users the total liquidity over their liquid-staked assets.

DIA is thrilled to announce a new collaboration with Orbiter One to provide the protocol with a price oracle for its decentralized lending solution on Moonriver and in the future on Moonbeam. The oracle will allow Orbiter One to list a variety of tokens as well as Liquid Staked Derivatives (LSDs) on its platform. It is based on high-quality, transparent asset price data. The oracle integration will boost the utility of the Dotsama native lending and borrowing platform.

“Without data platforms, lending protocols like Orbiter One simply cannot work. We are excited to be partnered with DIA in particular because they offer a very large variety of price feeds and they swiftly develop new ones per market demand.”— Yuriу Sigalov, Orbiter One CEO

Price Oracles for Any Asset Type

In order to support a selection of tokens and LSDs in its decentralized lending platform, Orbiter One requires accurate and reliable price information of those assets on-chain.

Hence, the oracle contains price feed two asset types:

Market Price Feeds for Standard Tokens
On the one hand, the deployed oracle is importing the market price information for regular digital assets. It includes wMOVR, WBTC, ETH, KSM, MAI, and more. The price feeds of these assets are calculated by leveraging granular, trade data, sourced from multiple markets and applying a Moving Average Price with Interquartile Range (MAIR) methodology.

Fair-Value Price Feeds for Liquid Staked Derivatives
On the other hand, the oracle also contains fair-value price feeds for LSDs kBTC and wstKSM. Since LSDs are infrequently traded in exchanges, utilizing the market value of the assets would be very risky and highly susceptible to market manipulations. Therefore, DIA determines the fair value of the assets by performing a collateral-ratio check on issuing protocol (i.e Lido or Interlay). This results in a risk-minimizing and transparent feed to integrate into lending protocols.

With liquid staking products rapidly growing, offering support for these types of assets in DeFi is necessary, and DIA as well as Orbiter One are focussing on bridging this gap. DIA is enabling users of the Orbiter One platform to use their LSD tokens as collateral in a transparent and safe manner. It will allow them to access the largest collateral variety on Dotsama.

“We are excited to help Orbiter One enable the largest collateral variety on the market by 2023. The space is in dire need of easy-to-use cross-chain interoperability, and Orbiter One fills that gap almost seamlessly. Together with their support for liquid-staked assets, we see a bright future for their platform. We are excited to help them enable their full potential!”— Michael Weber, DIA Association President

Transparent and Fully Customizable Delivery

Moreover, DIA deployed a dedicated and tailor-made smart contract oracle to supply the most suitable price feeds for Orbiter One. Besides the feed requirements laid out above, the oracle was set up with a custom update trigger of a 0.5% deviation threshold for each asset.

Therefore, all these tailor-made configurations facilitate Orbiter One with the most suitable oracle for its needs. These requirements were transferred to DIA. By submitting a DIA Custom Delivery Request (CDR) via the DIA Forum which is publicly available to everyone.

DIA introduces xLSD PRICE ORACLES for Liquid Staked Derivatives. The xLSD feeds unlock the true potential of Liquid Staked Derivatives by providing collateral-checked, fair-value price feeds.

DIA’s xLSD feeds enable DeFi protocols to support Liquid Staking Derivative tokens through a pricing approach that accounts for the collateral ratio.

DIA xLSD Price Oracle Features

Fair-value pricing — Instead of leveraging exchange data to price LSDs, DIA leverages on-chain information to create “fair-value” price oracles.

Better risk management — DIA’s fair-value LSD pricing evaluates the asset’s collateral ratio, to improve transparency and reduce the risk of market price manipulation.

Fully customizable — xLSD feeds can be custom-built for any Liquid Staked Derivative for any protocol on any network.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The collateralization ratio is determined
This requires the deposited volume of the base token and the volume of minted derivatives. Both metrics read on-chain from the smart contract of the staking protocol.

The market value of the base token calculation
DIA’s price feeds calculates using trade data from multiple high-volume exchanges. Prices determine by filtering market outliers and applying a transparent pricing mechanism.

Fair-value feed is pushed on-chain
xLSD feeds can deploy on any of DIA’s 30+ integrates L1 and L2 networks. Users can customize oracle parameters such as update mechanism and frequency.

In addition, DIA xLSD feeds vastly improve the capability of protocols to integrate your LSDs. Deploy price oracles for your LSDs to enable a number of DeFi use cases

Safeguard from Failure — xLSD’s feeds allow protocol operators and users to monitor collateral ratios and detect hacks, overissuance, and other issues.

Lending & Borrowing — Enable users to deposit their liquid staked assets as collateral to settle loans, run swaps, and many more.

Options & Futures — Build sophisticated dApps for the new generation of assets that liquid staking derivatives represent.

Asset Management — Power the automatic management of on-chain pools with DIA’s oracles for liquid-staked derivatives.

The platform is bringing the world of Ethereum-based applications and assets to the interoperable networks of the Cosmos ecosystem, all while aligning developer and user incentives, with over $3 million in TVL. DIA has integrated its open-source Oracle infrastructure with the Cosmos ecosystem’s Evmos.

The Boba Network

Boba Network is a multichain blockchain Layer2 scaling solution and hybrid compute platform that claims to offer 60 times lower fees than Ethereum. Boba Network is the world’s first multichain blockchain execution layer, supporting multiple EVM-compatible networks. DIA integrated its open-source Oracle infrastructure with the testnet of the Boba Network.

Neon

Neon is an Ethereum Virtual Machine with Solana’s scalability and liquidity. The Neon EVM is a synergistic solution for anyone looking to scale Ethereum dApps on Solana in a developer-friendly manner while also tapping into the vibrant Solana ecosystem. Neon has a transaction throughput of over 2000 TPS and gas fees of less than 0.000020 $SOL per transaction. DIA now provides accurate and transparent market data to Ethereum-native applications migrated to the Solana ecosystem.

Wanchain

Wanchain is a decentralized wide area network of blockchains as well as an L1 blockchain. The platform employs Galaxy Consensus, a Proof of Stake consensus algorithm that employs a number of cryptographic mechanisms. DIA’s deployed oracles shorten developers’ time to market on Wanchain and provide them with the tools they need to enable their dApps.

The Fuse Network

Fuse is a blockchain-powered decentralized platform that aims to enable genuine mass adoption of crypto payments and DeFi. Currently, the network has powered over 100 million transactions from over 1 million wallets. DIA’s oracles assist in powering Fuse with use cases such as stablecoins, staking, yield farming, and so on.

Telos

Telos is a third-generation blockchain platform that enables the development of fast, scalable distributed applications with feeless transactions. The platform is the first EOSIO-based blockchain that supports EVMs. DeFi developers on Telos can now use DIA’s extensive data feeds, thanks to the availability of DIA’s data and Oracle infrastructure on the layer 1 blockchain.

CLV

CLV is a Substrate-based L1 chain that is EVM compatible and thus interoperable across chains. It can take advantage of the extensive functionalities provided by Substrate rather than having to build them from scratch. CLV is a one-stop platform for cross-chain and decentralized applications designed for the next 100 million crypto users. In 2022, DIA became the primary Oracle provider for the CLV ecosystem.

OKC

OKC is a Cosmos-based L1 blockchain network that aims for maximum interoperability and performance. the platform is completely IBC and EVM-compliant, with extremely low costs and transaction speeds of up to 5000 TPS for contract interactions. DIA joined the OKC ecosystem by putting its data and Oracle infrastructure on the Layer 1 blockchain.

Velas

Velas is a smart contract platform for the third generation that supports Solidity and the EVM. The platform competes not only with traditional EVM blockchains, but also with their Layer-2 scaling solutions, thanks to low-cost gas prices, quick block times, and a speed that can handle 75.000 TPS. End-to-end oracle services from DIA are now available to Velas blockchain developers.

About DIA

DIA is an open-source, multi-chain, end-to-end data and Oracle platform for Web3. The DIA platform facilitates the acquisition, validation, and distribution of transparent and verified data feeds for traditional and digital financial applications. DIA’s institutional-grade data feeds include digital asset prices, NFT floor prices, lending rates, foreign exchange rates, and other information.

At the trade level, DIA’s data is sourced directly from a wide range of on-chain and off-chain sources. This enables DIA feeds to be fully customized in terms of source mix and methodology, resulting in tailor-made, high-resilience feeds and establishing a new paradigm for Oracles.
