Cronos Welcomes Dora Factory as Validator Node Operator
Cronos Labs is excited to announce a new partnership with Dora Factory, a community driven public good infrastructure that validates multiple crucial Web3 networks to contribute to decentralization, as well as to fund grassroot innovation via native block rewards. As a strategic ecosystem partner, Dora Factory will join Cronos as a validator node operator, contributing to the stability and security of the network.
As part of the partnership, Dora Factory will dedicate 70% of the network revenue it earns as a validator to fund hackathons and grants in the Cronos ecosystem. These funds will be managed by a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) on the Cronos network, ensuring transparency and community input into the allocation of funds.
Cronos Labs is also pleased to announce a partnership with DoraHacks, a global hackathon organizer that seeks to create a sustainable developer community. DoraHacks successfully organized the first Cronos Hackathon in late 2021 with 64 project submissions. Together, Cronos Labs and DoraHacks will provide developers with the tools, resources, and support they need to create innovative decentralized applications (dApps) on the Cronos network.
Through hackathons, workshops, and other educational events, the partnership will foster a vibrant and sustainable developer community that can drive the growth and adoption of the Cronos ecosystem. The partnership will also promote diversity, inclusion, and collaboration within the developer community.
